Gas abatement technologies include combustion, thermal, liquid and plasma reactions. As a competent chemist, you will be able to assess the likely chemical outcome of the interaction of process chemicals, process conditions, and equipment materials. Of similar importance is the knowledge of gas handling, vacuum pumping, instrumentation and industrial facilities, required to construct and conduct experiments. Laboratory and analytical experience is required. Knowledge and experience of CFD modelling techniques would be an advantage. Knowledge of chemical thermodynamics and kinetics. Dealing with: Silane, CF4, Ammonia, Hydrogen and Chlorine. Required to develop, test and prove the technology for gas abatement systems.
